-Daikokuya-
Tonkotsu Ramen
Daikokuya Is definitely one of my favorite ramenyas in downtown, although this meal was at their Hacienda Heights location and just wasn’t quite the same. I would still recommend this smooth creamy Black Pork Ramen over most, but I would advise you to take the time to hit up their Little Tokyo shop.

-Myojo Soy Sauce Ramen-
Shoyu Ramen
Nothing special but OK for instant noodles. I personally have never really liked corn in my shoyu ramen but eh.. pretty good for a quick meal. If you have more time and some fresh ingredients Sun Noodles makes a pretty good non dried noodle with a pretty good bite which is the way to go in my opinion.

Miso Ramen

I Love Ramen and Fresh noodles go along way to making a meal like this transcend from “instant lunch” to Yummy Ramen love’n! This was also the first time I’ve tried making my own “Ni-Tamago” style eggs. I used a variation of a recipe I found at Chubby Hubby to great success. For its overnight bath I used a mixture of Green Tea, a pinch of Brown Sugar, Shoyu and a little Mirin. Definitely worth the time.
