Shoyu Ramen
Nothing special but OK for instant noodles. I personally have never really liked corn in my shoyu ramen but eh.. pretty good for a quick meal. If you have more time and some fresh ingredients Sun Noodles makes a pretty good non dried noodle with a pretty good bite which is the way to go in my opinion.

Before I say anything about the above pictured food, I want to apologize for the bad photography. Robot Cooker has been adding some great images and content and I have been taking photos with my iPhone. Today I told myself, “Take your camera and start taking some quality photos for the Chow Down Eats entry”. Before I arrived to the restaurant I realized that I had left the memory card at home. Bummer.
I will be taking better Photographs! Promise. Pinky swear ;)

Located in Alhambra is a nice lil place where you can either sit at the bar and enjoy the live music or enjoy yourself at a table and have a comfortable sit down meal. The first thing my friend Nadia said to me was, “You have to try the Mojitos!” The Mojitos come in various flavors, I had the pleasure to try the Mango & Raspberry Mojitos. I have to say that the Raspberry’s taste was reminiscent of Pop Rocks. I ordered the “Ropa Vieja” which is shredded skirt steak with fresh peppers and tomato’s. Nadia ordered the “Papaya de Pollo”? I forget the name, but it was glazed with a papaya sauce that tasted more like Orange Chicken than anything else. Both dinners came with white rice topped off with black beans that was completely delicious. My entree was great at first but then suffered a taste of boredom by the end of the meal. I felt that it had no lingering taste that would compel you to have another bite. It just felt old with no excitement.
I would like to go back and try something different next time.
For now I give it a
