Char Siu flanken Ribs
So, its funny what happens when you are in the grocer trying to plan a few meals and you realize that you only have a few dollars in your pocket… The flanken ribs were $2.09 the green onions where $.69 and I had all the rest at home. Plus there were enough for leftovers. I know that Char Siu is usually pork, I just wanted to make sure I could better break down the cut of meat with a flavorful marinade. The sweet smoky Char Siu was just what it needed.
