-Drink-
A beer from Wasatch Brew Pub Utah. This is a strong, amber lager with a (8% abv). Not timid at all and very rich. Not the highest alcohol content, but enough that local stores in Utah are not allowed to sell it. Drink enough and it will live up to its namesake
*Yum*

Fried Rice
So I was wondering the internets the other day and became inspired by this recipe I found at The Minimalist by Jean-Georges Vongerichten via Mark Bittman. Simply called Fried Rice, Dressed simply. I simply loved it. A very nice variation on a classic with crispy ginger and garlic.

Im still missing something… But good nonetheless. on a side note I sometimes add Coriander and a pinch of sugar.

Pickled Zucchini Dragon
A wake up to your pallet. Definitely not something I would serve before a delicate dish. This is my take on the 10,000 variations of Japanese tsukemono pickles. I used a Zucchini this time but Cucumbers or whatever else you might have on hand work great too.
For the Pickling Bath -12 to 24 hours give or take.
-Rice Wine Vinegar
-Sugar
-Salt
-Dark Miso Paste
-Chili Flakes
-Chopped Garlic
-Shoyu
-Sriracha
To Plate Up
-A Little Sea Salt
-A Drizzle of Sesame Oil
